Master goldsmith mark: Louis François Tronquoy.
Louis-François, son of Jean-François Tronquoy and Louise Ferdinande Morin, born in 1798. He became master goldsmith January 4, 1827, located at 8 rue des Prouvaires, probably taking the continuation of Simon-Achille Léger. Tronquoy worked at the same address until June 28, 1871. He specializes under the Restoration and the Monarchy of July in the manufacture of boxes called "de present" for the royal family and his entourage.
