armchair gilded wood stamped L. Delanois Louis XVI

With its rotating seat and the harmony of its proportions, this armchair reflects the taste for the comfort of the 18th century society.

The single cane gondola folder carved with a frieze of acanthus leaves rolled around a ring is completed by two armrests volute carved acanthus leaves.
The armrests are molded and form continuity with the seat.
The circular seat is mobile thanks to metal rollers that roll in a groove dug in the belt. It is adorned with a frieze punctuated with from. From these start right fluted four feet

Louis DELANOIS (1731 - 1792)
Received master in 1761, he was located rue Saint Nicolas then rue du Petit-Carreau, under the sign "Au Noyer".
