Carved wood heraldic panel, 1470-1500

Fantastic carved wood heraldic panel, entirely decorated with motifs corresponding to the late Gothic period. the central coat of arms depicts a crowned rampant lion holding a Fleur de Lys. The whole panel presents a fine and loose carving with a warm and nice patina. It is displayed in a later period ebonised wood frame. Probably a French or Spanish work dating of the last decades of the XVth century. According to its shape and dimensions, it may come from a choir stalls. In overall good condition.
