Important VASE COVER in silver, baluster-shaped posing on a pedestal decorated with oblong medallions foliated staples, frieze of masks and lion's muzzle alternate on the node. The body is adorned with cartridges surmounted by a closed crown, in a wreath, on a frieze embossed with flowery foliage animated by putti.
The collar bears the inscriptions "FRIEDRICH" and "GROSSHERZOG v. BADEN » in two phylacteries. The winding handles are terminated by winged sphinxes, with fasteners in the form of masks. The lid is surmounted by a putto-shaped hold holding a laurel wreath.
