Elegant table "tric-trac", blackened wood, attributed to the cabinet maker François Lebesgue. It has four arched feet and two side drawers.
It has a reversible tray covered with a beautiful ivory chessboard and a leather on the other side.
Inside there is an exceptional "tric-trac" in white and green ivory arrows.
Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes (masks, handles, falling foliage and hooves).
This table has kept its two original pushers that were used to release the tray.

Historical anecdote : François Lebesgue was probably the brother of cabinetmaker Claude Lebesgue installed rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine in Paris.
