Charles Emile Vacher de Tournemine (Toulon 1812-1872)
Student of Isabey from 1840. Started at the Salon in 1846.
He entered the Luxembourg Museum in 1852, when he lost his mother and where he decided to go to the East, Italy, then to North Africa in 1853.
He exposed in Exposition Universelle in 1855.
He became a true Orientalist painter from 1857 on.
