Pair of cherubs putti "torchieres" in gilded wood 17th century

Pair of large cherubs depicted standing in the "contraposto" position on pedestals adorned with knots of ribbons. The cherubs, with their wings spread out, are wrapped in draperies in motion in the pure baroque style. They have smiling faces. The torches are beautifully decorated with scrolls and garlands of flowers. The bright polychromy and the gilding of origin are very beautiful. Italy 17th century
