A beautiful and rare Druidic Celtic solid gold ring, formed from a single rod of gold, drawn and expertly rendered into a solid finger ring. The bezel is formed as a double spiral, the terminals wrapped around the shoulders. It would appear this was a popular design with the European Celts, found on rings, brooches and inscribed on megalithic monuments. It is thought that the significance of the double spiral found in archaeological contexts, relate to reincarnation, duality, time and the flow of energy.
Circa 250 B.C. - 50 A.D.
