Schabraque of the 1st regiment of Cuirassiers de la Garde dated 1869. It is in two elements with covers for fonts and carpets. It is bordered by a strip of white thread of 4.6 cm and a white piping. The carpet is cut at right angles and adorned with a crotch of black leather, the points decorated with an N surmounted by the imperial crown (H 18.5 cm), this crown (H 9 cm) also adorns the two sides of the font cover. The font cover has a black leather handrail and a black lamb door trimmed with a white sheet festoon. The schabraque of the 1st regiment of Cuirassiers is in dark blue cloth with white piping, that of the 2nd regiment is in dark blue sky with scarlet piping. H max. folded in two 61 cm. These two elements are lined with unbleached "148" engraved fabric dated "69" (1869) with markings of the regiment: Imperial crown followed by the inscription "Gde Ile Cuirs". Perfect condition, some wear and tear. La France. Second Empire.
