Crucifix in Moustiers 18th century, workshop of Fouque
Important and rare crucifix of procession in faience of "grand feu".
Triangular base supported by 3 large claw feet in blue camaieu.
The three faces are decorated in polychrome, the first the Christ to the bonds, the second a monk and the third a bishop. On this basis rests a Latin cross and the representation of the Jansenist Christ under which is found a head of death and two crossbones.
Above in the representation of a parchment unrolled the inscription INRI. The cross is supported by a ball and decorated with flowering branches and rocailles, ending at the three ends of pine cones.
