Console Louis XVI of the Revolution period, 18th century
Beautiful small console in mahogany and mahogany veneer. Richly decorated with nets and brass inlays, such as the rings of the feet, the feigned grooves or the edges of the piece of furniture. The console is capped with black veined white marble.
The market would like us to consider this piece of furniture "Louis XVI period and style", however, this kind of furniture was "fashionable" and realized during the Revolution.
Condition report restored in our workshop in August 2017.
Waxed varnish. Ancient restoration to the left rear foot.
