Attic black figured Neck Amphora, from the studio of the Painter of Antimenès. Greek Art, circa 520 BC
Face A: Ajax carrying the body of Achilles on his back. The episeme of the shield represents a passing lion. On both sides of the group, a sad old man and a standing woman.

Face B: Young rider between two characters.

On the neck: Decoration of lotus buds and under the handles: palmettes

The base of the stage is adorned with friezes of lotus buds and tongues.
