Lacquered Cabinet Shodana "3 friends" Decoration
Lacquered cabinet "shodana" resting on 4 feet on a black lacquer (ro-iro) ground decorated on all sides of pine, plum and bamboo called "the 3 Friends" all symbol of loyalty. Gilded and chiseled copper fittings adorn all edges of the cabinet. On the front 2 compartments each closed by 2 doors of the same decoration. The large interior tablet, also decorated, has a slit that is not very generating as regards the overall aesthetics of the piece of furniture. The large left door has a slight discoloration from the right.
The whole furniture is of a high aesthetic quality.
