Beautiful gouache on paper depicting an antique bridge adorned with goddesses symbolizing victory on a background of landscape.
On each side of the two staircases under the bridge stands statues facing each other and a group of washers reflecting in the water.
Further on a group of people warm up around a campfire.

Monogrammed HR and dated 1786.

Original frame in gilded wood decorated with an interior frieze in strike of heart.

Provencal work of Louis XVI period.
