Large oval gold box in four tones of gold. The hinged lid is decorated with a central medallion decorated with musical trophies (musette, floral hat and cane flute) of several tones of golds and on amati background. This medallion is surmounted by a bow and framed by garlands of laurel in green gold and motifs of hollow shells. The the lid and the box have a frieze of foliage in green gold intertwining on amati gold background. The box has several panels representing the same composition of the lid: medallions decorated with trophies framed with shell motifs. Each medallion presents a different trophy: tambourine, oboe and other symbols representing Love. The bottom of the snuffbox is adorned with a medallion representing a harp and cane flute on amati gold background.
