Rare tortoiseshell cabinet opening by 8 drawers, and a central door opening to a parterre theater in geometrical decoration alternating with tortoiseshell and ivory (6 columns enclosed around 4 mirrors, the upper part containing 2 small drawers).
Coniferous wood core, rosewood drawers, hinges and door lock with original gilding.
The cabinet is in wood veneer on the top and on the sides, and the cabinet maker knew skillfully how to use the flame of each tortoise shell.
Two wood rods of the lower drawer redone (painted wood), two key holes of lock re-done, the key is not the original one.
19th century stand with the re-use of the twisted gilded original columns.
