Pair of ewers made of cut crystal and set in silver mounts. The crystal body is engraved with wide curving grooves, flowers, and foliated branches. The silver neck and the base are decorated with sculpted latticework, shells, and foliage. The lid is in the shape of a shell. Each pitcher has an openwork handle that features the lively movement of foliage.
The ensemble was created by Ernie, master silversmith in Paris.
