Porcelain celadon Stemcup
Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province
End of the 14th century, beginning of the 15th century
Slightly everted rim, and a four ribbed stem, hollowed out and glazed inside. The stem imitates the ribbing on a bamboo stem. Thick and even glaze with a rich celadon tone.
Incised flower incised under the glaze in the center of the cup.
The foot ring is unglazed, burnt orange due to the iron in the paste .
