French Empire mantel clock "The Broken Jug"

The movement to suspension and silk thread, is part of a borne representing a flowing fountain, topped by a round basin from which water gushes. An angel and a woman dressed in antique surrounding fountains. The angel console the woman who has just broken a pitcher. The clock rests on a green sea marble base and four ball feet. The enamel dial is signed "young LÉCHOPIÉ in Paris" (Rue Neuve des Petits Champs from 1812 to 1830..) H: 42cm L: 30cm
