A Restauration ormolu mounted mahogany striking regulator clock

The movement indicating the hours, minutes and date. The annular white enamel dial signed “ROBIN H. DU ROI & DE MADAME AN 1821” with hours in Roman numerals, minutes, and the 31 days of the month at the centre. The round movement in polished brass and steel, with cylindrical pillars, two barrels, anchor escapement. The gridiron nine-bar pendulum with knife-edge suspension.
The architectural mahogany veneered and ebony case, with four columns, adorned with finely chased and gilded bronze capitals and bases.
