A Louis XV lit de repos by L. Cresson

In natural beech, the headboards reversed with crosses, molded and adorned with a beautiful and fine sculpture of flowers and foliage that one finds on the enlivened belt.
It rests on eight curved arched feet and decor of flowers.

Louis Cesson I (1706 - 1761): received Master on 28 January 1738
Son of the carpenter Jean Cresson, he settled down rue de Cléry with the sign "The image of Saint Louis". He became a carpenter for the Prince of Conde and the Duke of Orleans. With great care, Louis Cresson manufactured, in an elegant Louis XV style, all sorts of caned seats or upholstered with fabrics with sculpted decorations and elegant curves.
