Pair of landscapes signed by Alfred Fontville Breanski - Burnham Beeches

Famous painters of the English school of Alfred Fontville Breanski junior and senior have painted the most charming landscapes of Scotland, Wales and England, with a predilection for the Burnham Wood *.
Painters of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, their paintings are very popular in England, and their luminous landscapes have sustained a rib.
A signature. F. of Breanski and how these tables indicate that we are dealing with Alfred Fontville BREANSKI II (1877-1945).
They are marked on the back "Autumn evening Burnham Beeches" and "Early morning Burnham Beeches" which we translate as "Autumn Evening in Burnham beech" and "Early morning in the beech Burnham."
They are genuine counterparts, where we discover the same pond, painted at dawn and dusk. Moreover, through his father, the influence of the old masters such as Turner and Constable, the influence of the French Impressionists is evident throughout his work, especially in such representations of the effects of light reflecting off the sky water.

Dimensions: 30 cm x 50 cm - 41 cm frames x 61 cm.

* Burnham Wood: old wood pasture and heathland about 220 hectares of Buckinghamshire famous for the hundreds of great and venerable beeches tadpoles surrounding ponds. Nature reserve managed by the City of London Corporation since 1879. The place became legendary as the Mecca of cinema, there were particular shot amongst a multitude of films, several Robin Hood, including the latest Kevin Costner, and more recently scenes of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
