A Louis XVI ormolu mounted mahogany bibliothèque basse
Solid mahogany, mahogany veneered, gilt-bronze, Saint-Anne marble, glass
Paris late 18thcentury
The inset Saint-Anne marble top with three quarter pierced gallery above a pair of glazed cabinet doors, flanked by two fluted columnar angles terminating in tapering feet.
The interior is equipped with two height-adjustable shelves.
Condition report : The two sheet of glass are ancient and probably original. The right glazing is split in a small section of its upper left corner. It can be change with a new glass panel on request.
