Fine Transition-style salon with four armchairs and a sofa in carved and gilded wood.
This salon combines the scrolled lines of the Louis XV style in the shape of the seat, arms and legs, with a straight back and Louis XVI-style motifs such as bouquets of flowers, interlacing friezes and stylized daisies.
These elements characterize the Transition style, an evolving style between the rocaille Louis XV style and the neo-classical Louis-XVI style.
