Pair of bronze candlesticks - Central Europe - circa 1500

This charming pair of gilded bronze candle-holders is a Central European production. Featuring their original iron spike and wax cup. The base is round and the turning of the shafts is cylindrical and has three knots. Note the beautiful old patina of the gilded bronze.
