Large perfume box in bronze veneered in ivory, with rich decorations on the front and sides in gilt and burnished bronze.
Briar interior with two crystal flasks; on the inner edge there is the brand of the factory "Susse Fres Place de la Bourse Paris", a famous foundry in Paris active during the 1800s. The object is certainly of French manufacture and can be dated to around 1870-80.
