Stamped by Godefroy Dester
In moiré lemon-tree veneer on all sides, highlighted with amaranth fillets and finely chased bronze frames. It opens on the outside with a cylinder topped by two latticed doors and six drawers adorned with ormolu.
The interior features a tan leather-covered sliding top and three small drawers, one of which holds a silvered metal inkwell.
It stands on four tapered legs with simulated amaranth veneered flutes.

His production of Louis XVI furniture represents his most personal style, most often small pieces of meticulously crafted, highly rigorous furniture.
