Offered by Mastromauro Japanese Art
A Japanese cloisonné metal incense burner characterized by a light-colored background that enhances the floral decoration and reserves.
The shape of the Koro, with three feet and a chrysanthemum-shaped grip, is elegant and harmonious.
Inside the three large reserves, we find representations of mythical creatures such as the dragon and phoenix, along with a graceful butterfly flying among the flowers. Meanwhile, the smaller gray background reserves feature delicate floral motifs.
The sparkling effect created by aventurine stone and the gold and silver wire that encloses the enamels adds refinement and luster.
