Partridge hunting dogs - Pierre Jules Mène ( 1810 - 1879

Bronze with brown patina representing two hunting dogs at the stop in front of a partridge, a braque and spaniel on a rocky terrace with leaves. This bronze is placed on a molded base of sea green marble (note an old restoration on the back). This bronze bears the signature of P. J. Mène and dated 1847, for Pierre Jules Mène (1810 - 1879).
