Pair of French Empire flambeaux from the early 19th century.
The central shaft is characterized by the figure of a woman in burnished bronze carrying a log with two lights on her head.
The stump is characterized by two winged griffins ending in long tails and carrying wax trays on their heads.
The woman rests on a sphere which in turn rests on a triangular base in satin bronze ending with a claw foot.
