Plate. Apulia, Greek art attributed to the Swann Group. 4th century B.C.

Black glazed plate and enhanced with red and white paint. The tondo is decorated with a lion rampant on a frieze of waves, in a border of ivy leaves and foliage. A crack otherwise intact. Very nice varnish.
