Japanese Helmet Kabuto Signed Nobuye Early Edo

Hoshi bachi type composed of 18 iron slats with visible rivets. The tehen is made of gilded copper in the shape of a kiku. The plate on the front bears the inscription Hachiman dai Bosatsu. On the fukigaeshi a môn features a hi-ôgi fan in gilded copper. The shikoro is 5 slats in blue laced iron. The menpô is not included with the helmet. Early Edo period (1603-1868).
