Hexagonal tea box of baluster form and its lid in Meissen porcelain with polychrome and gold decoration of Chinese characters accompanied by an object :
fan, parasol, fishing rod, net, scales ... accompanied by flowers and insects on each side; framed with gold net.
The lid is decorated with symmetrical scrolls with Böttger chandelier and a gold band.
Number "65" in gold under the box and in the lid.
About 1723-1724. First part of the 18th century.
Height : 10 cm.
Some visible wear of gold and resumption of the decoration of the lid.
Provenance : Swiss collection, Sotheby's Zurich sale, 21/11/1990, lot 57.
