French Napoleon III antique sofa belonging to the second half of the 19th century.
The backrest has an arched upward contour characterized by curves and counter curves interrupted in the central part by a loop.
The upholstered armrests end in a large double scroll in the form of a carved "S".
The two legs ending in a splayed loop are connected by a mixtilinear apron with a cyma in the center.
Provenance: France 19th century.
