Two Monkeys delousing each other by Guido Righetti (1875-1958)
The sculpture by Guido Rigehtti (1875-1958) shows two monkeys delousing each other. The sculpture was made between the two world wars. This casting has a brown and black patina. It is signed and numbered (2/10). This sculpture was part (lot 51) of the auction of Guido Righetti's studio which took place on 23/5/1997 (Millon-Robert auction house) at Drouot Paris. Unlike many other statues by Righetti, this sculpture has not been reissued posthumously by the Univers du Bronze gallery.
