A large oval oil painting on canvas representing the official portrait of Victor Amadeo III of Savoy and Piedmont, King of Sardinia ( Turin 1726 - Moncalieri 1796 ) in armour and hermin coat with the order of the Annonciade around his neck , holding the military baton with the cross of Savoy on red velvet and his crown next to him.

He is the father of the Comtesses de Provence and Artois, sisters in law of King Louis XVI of France .
