Neoclassical chandelier circa 1800

Chandelier composed of a central basin openwork bronze chased in it's gilding period, decorated with a pine cone, set with a green tinted glass plate ; green patina bronze band decorated with palmettes, topped by eight laurel wreaths, supporting eight light arms with gilded bronze griffin heads. It is linked by four chains to the upper pavilion composed of four gilded bronze brackets bearing the richly decorated star and palmettes ornated with flowers and musical instruments.
Northern European work, possibly Russian early 19th century.
