Pair of portraits of elegant ladies - Harold SPEED, 1912

Pair of oil on canvas representing two elegant women, one of them wearing a hat, sitting in an armchair.
After winning a gold medal for his studies of live models in 1890, he studied at the Royal Academy in London from 1891 to 1896, traveled all over Europe, and specialized in worldly portraits.
His book "The science and practice of oil painting" of 1924 will be considered as a reference.
