Silverware and Silversmith of the 19th and 20th centuries
Important "Elysée" model soup tureen, round in solid silver, richly chiselled with Bérain decor, lambrequins, interlacing and oval friezes. It is flanked by two leafy side handles and the grip of the lid is represented by a broccoli and foliage. The inner lining is in silver metal.
Its round display stand is surrounded by a frieze of ovals, and the flat outline is chiselled with the same Bérain decor.
