A large bronze statue of a young woman sitting dreaming, on a rotating base. The sculpture is signed by : augustus Moreau.
Auguste Moreau (1834 - 1917), the youngest son of Jean-Baptiste-Louis-Joseph Moreau and Anne-Marianne Richer, developed great artistic insight early on.
His particular style was already evident in his early work and
His sculptures were first exhibited in 1861.
In the 19th century, Paris was the scene of several universal exhibitions.
