Franch Provencal mirror, circa 1770

Beautiful and important mirror of Provencal origin, Louis XV period, around 1770, second half of the 18th century.
The mirror we present is richly carved with acanthus leaves, scrolls, flowers and a gilded wood fire pot on an olive green background.
Original mercury glass.
(Minor damages to the gilding)
