Variant with helmet, without nose protection, clearing the face.
Posthumous print signed "Barye", cast from the master model of the Atelier Barye, probably for a particular order (A.Schoeller, J. Zoubaloff who owned the model at one time, etc?) in the foundry F.Barbedienne and by one of Barye's practitioners who applied here the very advanced chasing regime of the master model "716", more than in the proofs of Barye himself and his posthumous publisher.
