Outstanding  Consoletable  with Egyptian heads in carved and gilt wood, precious top in Porphyry from Âlvdalen, red variety of Kåtila,
The belt decorations and the mounting of the top,overhanging and not recessed, testify to a Gustavian style prior to the Empire and still faithful to the aesthetics of the French Louis XVI.
The console bears on the edge right,under the top,   the marks of a chisel erasure of a signature or an official provenance. The base has probably been restored and re-patinated.
