Suite of 4 armchairs in painted and gilded wood, resting on 4 tapered, fluted and roughened legs.
The belt sculpted with rolled ribbons supports the armrest consoles starting with an acanthus also extended with rolled ribbons. This recurring pattern on the armchairs is found in the sculpture of the backrest.
Work from the last quarter of the 18th century, later lacquered and gilded.
Very good condition; trim recently redone.
